Many middle school wrestlers participate in their school programs as well as Batavia Wrestling Club. We strongly encourage middle school wrestlers to compete for their schools' teams, as this gives them daily wrestling practice, builds camaraderie with classmates, promotes the team aspect of wrestling competition, and is a lot of fun!

Our club offers an elite Monday night practice at Rotolo Middle School from 6-7:30 for our most advanced wrestlers by invitation to get specialized instruction from our Technical Coach. 

Middle school wrestlers are welcome at our Tues/Thurs practices from 7-8:30 in the Batavia High School wrestling room, but most of them do not participate in those practices until their middle school seasons have ended.

Many middle school wrestlers do compete with us at Sunday tournaments. Those tournaments are open to all Batavia Wrestling Club members, regardless of practice attendance.

We strongly encourage middle school wrestlers to join the club well before the end of their school season in order to get paperwork taken care of and get them signed up for upcoming tournaments. We have a 3-week advance deadline for tournament registration, so if you do not join the club until the beginning of January, your son will likely not be able to compete with us until the end of January. Our season runs until early March.
